Ingredients

8 oz ground turkey
1 tsp Chef Meg's Taco Seasoning
6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cup red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
2 oz tortilla chips
1/2 cup salsa
Optional toppings:
Greek yogurt
Diced avocado
Chopped black olives
Bell peppers

Directions
Brown turkey and then add the taco seasoning.
Divide the lettuce, beans, and onion into four large bowls, then top with the turkey and cheese.
Crush the tortilla chips and add to the top of the salads.
Add salsa and enjoy!

As I read the comments I felt saddened..if you don't like the recipe..please don't bash the poster..! I am sure , like all of us, our feelings are tender..find positive input and suggestions.. life is too short to criticize something not intended to hurt. This was great, but I made a few alterations. I used black beans, instead of kidney (which are not my favorite), and sauted the bell peppers and onions. As additional toppings, I had lowfat yogurt, and avocado- yum. I think you could have done without turkey, and it still would have been delish. - 8/21/12
