My husband always turns his nose up to chuck roast and says its too chewy or too something. I tried this recipe because it sounded good. He came in, took a plate, I was waiting for him to complain when he turned around and said now this is good, keep this recipe. That was a true compliment. - 7/20/08

This will be my first time ever using a slow cooker & making a roast for that matter. I just realized I only have the regular hidden valley ranch not buttermilk & wondering if it will taste just as good or should I make it another day when I have the exact ingredients? Could anyone help?? Thank You - 10/12/11

Absolutely delicious! My whole family loved it. I am concerned about the fat grams though, is 4.3 g of fat really accurate for 4 oz. of chuck roast? - 4/26/10

I put all the pieces into spark correctly and accurately and just double checked - so yes I believe so - I think it is the bulk is protein and not the fatty mean part!
