Andi's Pears and Cottage Cheese Breakfast/Snack

Andi's Pears and Cottage Cheese Breakfast/Snack

Introduction

I just throw this together for breakfast or a snack. You could use light canned pears or another canned fruit, sometimes I also use fresh pears. Also you can use fat free cottage cheese, or lower fat cottage cheese. I just throw this together for breakfast or a snack. • When I was in college back in the 70's one of my favorite dorm cafeteria foods was a canned pear half filled with cottage cheese...then topped with shredded cheddar. Was going to suggest for Sparkpeople, but you beat me to it. IT'S GREAT. - 1/26/11
