Superfood Smoothie

Introduction

This smoothie is both sweet and refreshing! This smoothie is both sweet and refreshing!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 medium banana, peeled and quartered
    1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries (I prefer fresh when they're in season!)
    1 c. kale, chopped and deveined
    About half a cucumber, peeled and sliced
    8 oz. plain low- or non-fat yogurt (I love Greek yogurt the best!)
    4 oz. skim milk
    Few ice cubes

Tips

Definitely peel the cucumber and tear apart kale if making this smoothie in a blender.


Directions

peel and chop banana and cucumber
tear apart kale and take out "veins"
remove any stems from blueberries
mix all ingredients together and blend on liquefy in your blender!

Serving Size: Makes 2 servings.
