Introduction

I wanted to make pecan pie for a long time, but I only have almonds so I made same changes and voila'! I used reduced sugar/stevia mix. It's an experiment so I hope it turns out ok. Ingredients




    Semisweet chocolate, 0.5 cup chips (6 oz package)(remove)
    Light Corn Syrup, 1.25 cup(remove)
    Domino light sugar stevia blend, 24 tsp(remove)
    Egg, fresh, 2 large(remove)
    Almonds, 1 cup, sliced(remove)
    Butter, unsalted, 3 tbsp(remove)
    Pie crust, chocolate wafer, 1 crust, single 9"(remove)

Directions

Prepare the crust. Then mix other ingredients. Pour in the pan. Let cool completely slice into squares. accompany with fresh fruit and a high protein, low fat meal to compensate for the decadent dessert.
