Whole Wheat Waffles - Vegan

Introduction

These are Egg & Milk free! These are Egg & Milk free!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 ripe banana - mashed
    2 Cups Water
    1/2 Cup Un-coooked Oatmeal
    1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1 tsp Nutmeg
    1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

Mix mashed banana & water together. Add dry ingredients and mix, leaving the batter lumpy.

Cook on waffle iron as normal, or make into pancakes on a griddle.

Makes 8 servings.

  • If I remade this I would try adding a little bit of salt. It was fine. I did decrease flour a little bit and added some flax meal. - 5/30/08
