Lentil Black Bean Stew

Ingredients

    Onions, raw, 1 large (remove)
    Celery, raw, 2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 2 medium (remove)
    Lentils, 1 cup (remove)
    Beans, black, 2 cup (remove)
    Chicken stock, home-prepared, 1.5 cup (remove)
    *Ketchup, Heinz, 2 tbsp (remove)
    cumin, chili powder 1 tsp each.
    paprika 1/2 tsp

Directions

saute vegies, add lentils, stock, ketchup and 2 c water. boil for 25 min. add beans and spices and cook for 5 min. season w salt and pepper if needed
