Introduction

This was a super fast stew that I put together one day when it was rainy and chilly out. Add your own spices. It turned out to be delicious! This was a super fast stew that I put together one day when it was rainy and chilly out. Add your own spices. It turned out to be delicious!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 packs dry onion soup mix
    1 can flaked chicken - burns
    5 carrots
    2 med. cooking onions
    6 med. potatoes with skin on chopped up in big cubes, stew style (par boil in microwave if you want)
    2 litres boiling water
    1 pkg dry gravy or browning mix
    6 tsp margarine
    3 cups frozen green and yellow beans or other veggies.

Directions

1. fry onions in marg. in pot
2. Add soup mix, carrots, potatoes, canned chicken, 2 litres of boiling water and let cook. When boiling add frozen beans or other veggies. Take .25 cup soy protein add a little water to it to make a paste and then pour into the soup to thicken along with the package of browning sauce mix. Let cook being careful to stir enough so it does not stick to pot.

Serving Size: Makes 12 - I cup servings
