6 cups water
2.5 cups dried navy beans (soaked overnight and drained) - this is approximately 5 cups canned beans
1 pound ham, cubed
1 can (15 oz.) corn, drained
1 can (4 oz.) mild diced green chiles, drained
1 medium onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste
NOTE: This made double what we could fit in our 3.5 qt. crockpot, so we had to make it in two batches.
