2 cups water
2-3 cups fresh kale leaves (washed and stems removed)
1 tsp fresh ginger root ( peel and chop 1/2 inch slice)
2 Tbsp flaxseed meal
1 banana peeled and ripe
1 apple, quartered and core removed
1/2 cup frozen peach slices
a few ice cubes
1/2 cup Almond Milk (I use original) or coconut milk
store leftover in 16 oz or qt glass jars for up to 2 days.
With a Vitamix, just blend as manufacturer directs.
Some say this is more like juicing, except for the milk. For more protein add small container yogurt.
Serving Size: makes 3 16-20 oz servings
