Emily's Version of Meat Crust Pizza

Ingredients

    1 cup Ak Mak Crackers crushed - about 16 crackers
    10 oz ground turkey breast
    2 links (about 7.5 oz) turkey italian sausage - hot or sweet.
    0.5 cup egg substitute - equivalent to 2 eggs.
    6oz light mozzarella cheese
    1 oz fresh grated parmesan cheese
    0.5 cup tomato/marinara sauce
    Optional:
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp dried oregano
    3/4 to 1 tsp dried basil
    Vegetables to your liking - mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, etc.

Directions

Mix the ground turkey and turkey sausage (out of casings) together well to incorporate the two together. Then add the crushed crackers, garlic, basil and oregano to the meat. Work these dry ingredients together until fully incorporated, and then add the egg and mix well.

Put this on a cookie sheet, spread out to an appropriate size/thickness and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

After 15 min, add the sauce, cheeses, and desired toppings. Place back in the oven for another 15 minutes, still at 350.
