Introduction
Tasty muffins that are low-fat, but high on taste! Tasty muffins that are low-fat, but high on taste!Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients

1.5 cups HeartSmart Bisquick mix
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 cup almond milk
1 egg
1/2 cup frozen mixed unsweetened berries, unthawed and coarsely chopped (or fresh berries)
Tips
Directions
Line muffin try with paper cups or non-stick spray. Mix first five ingredient together in a large bowl, then gently fold in berries. Spoon evenly into muffin cups. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
If you like a sweeter muffin, add no-calorie sweetener, more brown sugar, or use sweetened applesauce; or spread your muffin with a touch of honey.
Makes 12 muffins.
