Very good flavor. Next time, and there WILL be a next time, I will put the oats in the food processor for a finer coating. - 1/16/10

This was really good! I didn't have any poultry seasoning, though, so I added half a teaspoon each of thyme and sage, and a dash of cayenne. Yummy! - 2/2/08

My husband said he thought they were bland, too. Then, he proceeded to eat 8... =) It's a decent substitute for when you're wanting the deep-fried version, and it was quick to make. - 3/7/11

I've done that as well. I haven't been able to find the poultry seasoning I had when I first started making these tenders. It's also good with grill seasoning.

Eh it was good, but not nearly enough flavor in it. Next time I'll add more seasoning. - 11/16/08

For a little more spice, add some hot sauce to the milk/egg mixture.

My 2 year old LOVED this chicken! She isn't too picky of an eater but when it comes to chicken, she only will eat it in popcorn size. She loved this and asked for seconds! Thanks for sharing! - 2/4/08

Sounds healthier than traditional breaded chicken. I might try this with whole chicken breasts. - 2/1/08

  • I didn't have rolled oats, so I used steel cut oats and no flour (my husband is allergic.) These turned out great! My husband loved them - he says we should make them for company. They had a really unique flavor and texture so we will definitely be making again. - 7/27/11
