A cream cheese version of a delicious and simple low-carb dessert recipe I got from my German uncle.

Only 1.1 carbs per serving.

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

1 box sugar-free Jello (any flavor)
    1 cup real cream cheese
4 packets Truvia (or 8 drops of liquid stevia)
    4 packets Equal

Tips

Why use stevia AND Equal or Splenda? Because mixing artificial sweeteners has a synergistic effect, causing them to taste sweeter than if you used only one kind. By using two or more different sweeteners, you can use less overall and still achieve the same level of sweetness.

If you prefer, you can use liquid stevia in place of the Truvia.

Directions

(1) Make a large batch of sugar-free Jello in a casserole dish so it is between 0.5 and 1 inch thick.
(2) While it chills, beat the cream cheese, Equal, and Truvia together.
(3) When completely cool, spread an even layer of the sweetened cream cheese over the jello.

Enjoy!
