Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    Flour, white, .75 cup
    Salt, .25 tsp
    Baking Powder, 1 Tbsp.
    Baking Soda .25 tsp
    Egg Yolk, 2 large
    Milk, nonfat, 1.75 cup
    Canola Oil, .5 cup
    egg white, fresh, 2 large

Directions

Sift together dry ingredients.

Beat together egg yolks and milk. Beat together egg whites and oil. Combine both egg mixtures.

Add egg mixture to dry ingredients all at once. Stir until combined. Batter will be lumpy.

Cook in waffle iron.

(I top with applesauce or peaches instead of syrup and butter.)
