Stuffed Peppers

Introduction

For those that don't use ground turkey. These easy tasty stuffed peppers using ground beef. For those that don't use ground turkey. These easy tasty stuffed peppers using ground beef.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 LB Ground beef, lean
    1 8 oz can Tomato Sauce
    1 14.5 oz can diced Tomatoes (your choice of flavor)
    1/2 C White Rice, long grain (uncooked)
    1.5 tsp Worcestershire Sauce,
    1/4 C Part Skim mozzarella Cheese
    3 Peppers (choice of color)
    1/4 C dehydrated onion
    Seasons to taste
    1/2 C water

Directions

Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds. Then cut peppers in half. Boil peppers in enough water to cover for about 5 min. Remove from heat and place in sprayed 10x13 baking dish.

Brown beef and onions until no longer brown and onions are tender/soft, drain if needed. Add remaining ingredients except tomato sauce and cheese. Bring to boil and then reduce to simmer. Simmer until no liquid remains.

Spoon beef and rice mixture into peppers. Pour tomato sauce over them, top with cheese and back in 375 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
