"PMS Savior" Trail Mix!

Submitted by: ASHLEYA0403

Introduction

Desperate for chocolate, popcorn, and salt, I stopped and created this at home. Stove-popped popcorn in coconut oil was my base, and I added other items I had on hand (all measured and portioned out into 7 different baggies). This could EASILY be adapted and made lower-calorie, but I'm happy with what I have!

My next variation will switch out the M&Ms for organic chocolate chips, but I wanted to use these M&Ms up in a healthier way.

Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    1/4 cup walnuts
    1/4 cup pecan halves
    1/4 cup almonds (whole)
    1/4 cup raisins
    1/4 cup M&Ms
    40 pretzel sticks
4 cups stove-popped popcorn (used coconut oil)

Directions

cook the popcorn, measure ingredients, portion into baggies! Popcorn may not last long in baggies if oil-popped like mine, so best to either air-pop or share some baggies with friends, kids, etc.

Serving Size: makes 7 snack-sized ziploc bags (approx 180 calories each)

Number of Servings: 7
