    3lb whole roasting chicken
    1/2 cup carrots
    1/2 cup celery
    1/4 cup onion


chop celery, carrots and red onion. Boil with chicken and seasoning to taste. Add chicken and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove chciken and pick from bones. Discard bones and return to pot add noodles and boil until al dente.
