easy lentils

Ingredients

    4 servings add more of everything for extra servings

    1 cup brown lentils
    1 cup carrots semi cooked
    1 cup onions to saute
    1 tbsp curry powder (can add other spices)
    1 cup cubed turnips (can also add other vegs)
    !/2 cup chick peas (canned or cook prior to dish)
    2 heaped tbsp garlic (fresh or out of a jar)




Directions

saute onion using virgin olive oil, add curry powder, other spices and garlic. Saute all ingredients for a few minutes than add lentils, carrots and turnips, canned tomato and, other vegetables if desire.

when heated add boiling water to cover let simmer until cooked.

Can be used as a side dish or with rice or meat.
