Milk chocolate and banana popsicles

Introduction

Adapted from the recipe in "Ice Pops" by Shelly Kaldunski, for my family's logging purposes Adapted from the recipe in "Ice Pops" by Shelly Kaldunski, for my family's logging purposes
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1/4 c cream
    1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder
    2 oz milk chocolate
    3/4 c plain yogurt (Greek, lowfat)
    4 bananas
    1 Tbsp superfine sugar
    pinch of salt (optional)

Directions

Banana mix: mash bananas with 1/2 c yogurt & sugar.
Chocolate layer: heat cream & cocoa until simmering. Remove from heat. Add chopped chocolate, stir until melted. Add 2 Tbsp yogurt & salt, if desired. Let cool to room temperature.
Fill popsicle molds 1/3 with banana mixture. Freeze 20 min. Add chocolate, freeze 20 more min. Add remaining banana mixture, put in sticks & freeze completely.

Serving Size: Makes 6 popsicles
