Lighter Strawberry Shortcake

Introduction

Strawberries are so good for you. This recipe gives you the creaminess without the cream and the sweetness with less sugar. Fast to make for two and easily adapted for more. Less than 150 calories. Strawberries are so good for you. This recipe gives you the creaminess without the cream and the sweetness with less sugar. Fast to make for two and easily adapted for more. Less than 150 calories.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    6 ounce container of Chobani 0% Strawberry Greek Yogurt
    1/2 cup of sliced fresh strawberries
    2 very small slices of angel food cake. (About 3 inches square and 1/2 inch thick)
    One package of Splenda

Directions

Slice the strawberries. Add the Splenda to the strawberries and allow to sit for a minute or two to let the strawberries juice up a bit. Divide the strawberries into two equal portions.
Combine the yogurt to one half of the strawberries and stir.
Place the angel food cake on a dessert plate or in a small bowl and top the cake with the yogurt mixture.
Top with the remaining strawberries. Serve.
