Ingredients

1 cup raw brown rice
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
pinch of dried chives or parsley
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. chicken bouillon
1 tsp. lemon juice
Tips
Directions
Briefly saute brown rice in butter. Boil chicken broth and seasonings in microwave and add to brown rice. Cover and cook on low for 45 minutes. If necessary, at the end, take the lid off and let a little liquid evaporate so it's nice and creamy in texture.
Good with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
