Beer Braised Turkey w/ Potatoes

Ingredients
Red Potato, 454 grams, 1 lb qtr'd
Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) thinly sliced
Turkey (light meat), 1.5 lb
Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp (sliced)
Basil, 1 tbsp or 1/4 cup fresh
Lemon Juice, .5 lemon yields
Salt, .5 tsp
Budweiser Select 55, 12 oz
Tips
Turkey was beautifully moist, and the drippings made a fab gravy, thicken by reducing on the stove with 1 tbs cornstarch w/ 2 tbs cold water.
Directions
use 6 qt slow cooker. plasce the potatoes and onion into the bottom of your insert, add turkey on top, frozen is ok. add butter, basil, lemon juice. sprinkle on salt and pour in the beer. cover and cook low 6-8 hours or high 4-5 hours.
