Introduction

Steak and Cheese a little healthier version.Not the best stats but something to enjoy once in awhile. I use leftover flank steak and I do not use salt in my cooking but of course you may season however you like. There pizza sauce on this either but still works for me. Ingredients

    4 oz flank steak (leftovers if possible)
    2 slices Sargento's Ultra Thin Sliced Colby Jack Cheese
    2 medium mushrooms sliced
    1 tbsp onion sliced
    1 tbsp red bell pepper sliced
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp onion powder
    1 Arnolds Pocket Thins Italian Herb
    non stick cooking spray

Tips

If you are feeling adventerous top with lettuce,tomatoes,jalepenos or whatever floats your boat!


Directions

Prepare flank steak as instructions on package state if necessary.
But if you have leftovers here we go. Heat your broiler.Spray skillet with cooking spray. Heat and then add onions and peppers. Cook for about 2-4 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook an additional 2-4 minutes. Warm up your flank steak if you have used leftovers and mix in the vegetables. Season if you want or need to. Top pocket with mixture and top mixture with cheese slices. Cook in broiler for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Serving Size: Makes one pizza or two if you are willing to share. 2 servings will be 183 calories each and 212 mg of sodium.
