Bacon & Mushroom Rotini

Ingredients

    turkey bacon, 6 slices
    whole wheat rotini (approx 6 oz or half a box)
    olive oil - 3 tbs
    garlic - 3 cloves, minced
    mushrooms - fresh, 1 cup
    white wine - a generous splash
    parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup

Directions

bake bacon until crisp - approx 15 min
cook rotini per direction.
sauté garlic in olive oil in pot until lightly browned, add splash of wine and mushrooms and sauté for approx 5min. Take pot off flame and Stir in rotini, bacon, and parmesan. salt and pepper to taste, add crushed red pepper for heat.
