1# ground venison 1/4 large onion, diced 1 c. celery, diced 1 can diced tomatoes 1 large can tomatoe juice 2 TBsp chili powder 2 c. water 1 can fat free refried beans 1/4 cup uncooked pearled barley
Mix all ingredients except barley, together in a small stock pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occassionally. Add barley. Turn heat to low and let simmer for up to 2 hours. Can add jalepenos, garlic powder or black pepper for more kick. Serves at least 8.
