1/2 cup old fashioned oats (you can use quick, but adjust cooking time)
1/2 teaspoon orange zest, finely grated
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon dried cranberries, cherries or berry mix
1 cup skim milk
2 tsp packed brown sugar
2. In the morning, place the mixture in a medium-sized saucepan and bring it to a simmer.
3. Lower the heat and cook, stirring frequently, for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the oats are tender and the mixture is thick.
4. Serve immediately, topped with brown sugar.
