Turkey Sheppard Pie

Ingredients

    1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
    1/2 small onion minced
    1 can cream style corn
    1 can greeen peas(drained)
    6-8 small red potatoes
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1 tbsp light butter
    Paprika can be sprinkled on top in the end

Tips

This is a great meal to make ahead of time. I tend to make a day ahead so that we I can home the next night, I can spend time with family while this dish cooks in the oven.


Directions

In a sauce pan, boil the potatoes (I leave skin on) in water. While potatoes are cooking, spray a large skillet with Pam spray and saute onion and gr turkey till cooked through. Once meat/onions are cooked through, add cream corn and peas and mix together. Once potatoes are done, in separate bowl mash potatoes and add butter and milk. Transfer meat mixture to 9 x 9 baking dish, and top with mashed potatoes. Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes or until bubbly. I
