English Pea Salad

Ingredients

    32 oz. package green peas, frozen
    1 cup diced onion, sweet or red
    8 oz. package sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
    2 hard boiled eggs, diced
    8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/4 cup olive oil mayonnaise
    1/4 cup ranch salad dressing
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. celery salt

Tips

To save time, you can use already cooked turkey bacon. If you don't have time to boil eggs, just leave them out. This is definitely one of those recipes you can experiment with...just don't leave out the peas!


Directions

Hard boil eggs. Rinse frozen peas and drain well. Place in large bowl and add onion, cheese, eggs, and bacon. Toss well. Whisk together mayonnaise, ranch dressing, pepper, and celery salt. Pour over salad and toss well. Chill before serving.

Serving Size: Approximately 10 3/4 cup servings
