Introductiona healthier alternative to regular pancakes a healthier alternative to regular pancakes
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup old fashioned quick oats
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup Chobani Greek vanilla yogurt
1 tsp vanilla
The original recipe called for 1 egg white. I had made these a few times and substituted 1 tbsp flaxseed meal( mixed with 3 tbsp water to form a paste) and they didn't seem to cook as good as when I used a whole egg but the flavor was still great. Taste great with sauce made from blackberries or blueberries.
Any suggestions on how to possibly lower sodium and carbs are greatly appreciated.
ADD yogurt,egg, and vanilla
HEAT skillet with 1 tsp coconut oil. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to make 3 pancakes .
cook on each side til golden brown.
top with your favorite topping and enjoy!!
