Introduction
2 ingredients no doubtful additives. I used organic cream no hormones or antibiotics.Pure 2 ingredients no doubtful additives. I used organic cream no hormones or antibiotics.PureNumber of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
1 cup Heavy cream,( I used organic cream not listed)
1/8 tsp salt ( can be omitted)
Tips
This is so easy, I have no tips to offer but use organic when possible it makes a big difference .
Directions
Using a big bowl mixer (you may use hand mixer) pour cream into bowl beat on high, when you see stiff peaks like for whipped cream you are almost there, continue beating till it begins to separate from the liquid it looks like curdle clumps but it is not curdled. when it all separates ( about 10 minutes) strain into a bowl make sure bottom of strainer doesn't touch the liquid and pick it up with your hand start kneading till all the liquid is gone place in a container and you may now knead a little salt till mixed in. place in an airtight bowl, will keep for only two weeks if unused as there are no preservatives. The milky water runoff is uncultured buttermilk which can be used for baking or mashed vegetables.
