3.5 oz wholewheat penne pasta
400g can red kidney beans
400g can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp ground turmeric
1 tsp freshly milled pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Drain and add back into the pan.
Add the canned tomatoes, drained kidney beans and seasonings.
Allow this to reduce over a low heat to the desired consistency.

Makes 2 very generous servings. My husband the carnivore even liked it. I used less than half the recommend spice amounts and added some spaghetti sauce for more flavor and sauciness.
I made this a 2ndx with original spice prescription and it burned my mouth. too hot for this kid. - 7/25/12
Yummy! I didn't have the kidney beans so I had to substitute black beans whoch are our favorite here anyway. This has made life so easy, with my disability I am always looking for a easy delish dinner that dh & son like and this is one to add to my file. We like spicy too! Thanks! - 2/5/12
