Applesauce Oatmeal

Introduction

This is for the mornings that I want a quick, warm breakfast and I know I won't chop any apples to flavor my oatmeal. This is for the mornings that I want a quick, warm breakfast and I know I won't chop any apples to flavor my oatmeal.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 C Oatmeal
    1/2 C Unsweetened Apple Juice
    1/2 C Unsweetened Apple Sauce
    1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
    1 tsp (packed) Brown Sugar

Directions

1. Mix oatmeal and juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover. Let stand for 5-7 minutes.

2. Add applesauce, cinnamon and brown sugar. Stir well.

For more fiber you can add dried fruit, nuts or bran.
