Introduction

This recipe is a very healthy way to use up overripe bananas, and my kids love them! (I do, too!) This recipe is a very healthy way to use up overripe bananas, and my kids love them! (I do, too!)
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3 very ripe bananas
    1/2 cup raisins
    2 cups quick oats
    1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/4 cup skim milk
1 tsp each, cinnamon and vanilla

Tips

You don't have to worry about them spreading, so they can be placed pretty close on the cookie sheet.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Mash up the bananas. Add the rest of the ingredients, beating well. Let stand about 5 minutes to allow the oats to absorb moisture.

Grease cookie sheet and drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto it.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand one minute on cookie sheet before transferring to wire rack to cool completely. Store in refrigerator.

Serving Size: Makes 20-24 cookies
