Snickers Apple Salad

Introduction

This is the healthier version that is made with just enough crushed Snickers candy bars to give the appearance of the higher calorie version. Definitely much better for our healthy lifestyle. This is the healthier version that is made with just enough crushed Snickers candy bars to give the appearance of the higher calorie version. Definitely much better for our healthy lifestyle.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 Snickers Candy Bar, chopped small
    1 (1.4 ounce) package butterscotch instant sugar-free pudding and pie filling mix
    8 ounces skim milk
    6 medium size Granny Smith apples or other tart, crisp apple, cored and cut up into small chunks
    12 ounces (375 ml) Cool Whip Free
    1/4 cup blanched peanuts, chopped

Directions

Prepare butterscotch pudding according to package directions using the 8 ounces skim milk. Fold in chopped Snickers bar, chopped apples, and Cool Whip last . Sprinkle top with chopped peanuts.and decorate with apple slices Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Note: Cut the apples after you have mixed the other ingredients (except Cool Whip) so that they aren't brown when you add them. May also toss them with small amount of fresh lemon juice to keep them from browning.
