Home made refried beans

Introduction

I found a recipe online, didn't like it but was able to make this from it & it was GOOD!
I will use this version of refried beans in a chicken popper recipe as well...
Sharing to get the nutrional value as well

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 can black beans
    1/4 cup water
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/2 tsp of white pepper
    1/2 tsp of franks hot sauce

Tips

when heating remaining beans in step 2, mash some of the beans w/ a fork for added 'creamy-ness'
this makes 2 some what large portions. I use 1 portion in my chicken popper recipe


Directions

1. in a small bowl, mashed 2/3 cup black beans
2. In a medium sauce pan...combine remaining beans with water and heat thoroughly
3. Stir in garlic, pepper and hot sauce
4. Add bean paste and thoroughly mix


Serving Size: 12 - 1 tablespoon sized servings
