One Pot Meal

Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 can red Kidney beans, drained
    1 can pinto beans, drained
    2 cans Pork N Beans
    1 can black beans, drained
    1 can lima beans, drained (I leave these out)
    1/2 cup Ketchup
    1/4 cup brown sugar(could use Splenda Brown)
    1-2 Tbsp liquid smoke (to taste)
    2-3 Tbsp cider vinegar (to taste)
    1 lb turkey sausage or ground turkey
    3/4 lb turkey bacon
    1 onion chopped

Directions

Cut bacon in small pieces. Saute bacon and onion in non-stick skillet until onions are cooked-but not brown. Sitr frequently. In another skillet, cook turkey sausage until browned. Drain if needed.

Dump bacon/onion mixture and turkey sausage into 4-6 qt crockpot. Add all the beans and remaining ingredients. Stir and cook on low 7-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. Serve by itself of over cornbread.
