Thai Di Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

16 oz. extra lean ground turkey
1/2 Cup Panko Japanese style bread crumbs
1 Cup chopped sweet red pepper
4 thin slices fresh pineapple (or 4 canned slices)
3 Tbsp Thai Chili Sauce
1 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
1 Tbsp Lite Soy Sauce
1 large fresh egg, beaten (use egg white only if desired)
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp onion powder
1-2 Tbsp Red Chili Pepper Flakes (to taste)
1 tsp salt (to taste)
1 tsp dried ginger
2Tbsp Newman's Own Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing
4 whole wheat reduced calorie hamburger buns
Tips
Don't over mix the ground turkey and don't turn more than once on the grill.
Directions
Keep ground turkey chilled until ready to mix.
In a large bowl mix all ingredients except pineapple slice, bun and Sesame Ginger Dressing. Form into 4 patties, return to refrigerator until ready to cook.
Heat grill to medium-high
Spray patties lightly with cooking spray on both sides
Grill 5-6 minutes a side or until internal temp is 165 degrees.
Grill pineapple slices apx. 3 minutes a side
Spread buns with dressing and grill for apx. 1 minute or until browned.
Assemble burgers with pineapple slice on top of each patty. Garnish with lettuce or fresh spinach if desired.
