Frozen Fruit Slushy

Introduction

Adapted from a fundraiser cookbook. More calories could be cut by using unsweetened strawberries. A nice cool refreshing treat and when served in clear bowl or individual cups is pretty enough for a party. Adapted from a fundraiser cookbook. Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    20 oz can of Crushed Pineapple with juice
    20 oz carton frozen Strawberries sweetened thaw slightly
    4 medium sized Bananas; sliced
    12 oz can of frozen Orange Juice concentrate
    1/2 cup Sugar substitute ( I used Splenda)
    5 cups Diet Lemon-Lime soda pop;or may use ginger ale

Tips

Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving to soften slightly. Serve with a spoon.
Makes 16 eight oz servings


Directions

Thaw Strawberries and Orange Juice slightly. In a large bowl, at least 2 quarts, stir all ingredients together until well blended. The mixture will be chunky with the fruit. Freeze in a large bowl to serve later, or divide in individual cups.
