Vegan Nutty Pie CrustSubmitted by: OJETTE
1 ½ cups flour shopping list
1/3 cups nuts
1 tbsp. dry sweetener
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
½ cup margarine
2 tbsp. vegetable shortening
2 tbsp. cold water
Add the margarine and shortening, and blend until well combined.
Transfer mixture to a large bowl, and add water. Mix together until dough forms.
Knead for a minute or two.
Wrap the dough in wax paper and chill for 30 minutes. Roll the dough into a pie crust. Makes 1 pie crust.
Serving Size: 1/8th pie (standard pie plate)
