Introduction

This recipe is an altered version of loveveggiesandyoga.com's vegan peanut butter choc chip protein bars. These are an awesome, filling snack that doesn't contain a bunch of unknown ingredients! Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    5-6 dates (pitted and finely chopped)
    1 ripe banana (smashed up)
    1/2 cup coconut flakes
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 Tbsp peanut butter
    1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
    1/2 cup agave nectar
    2 Tbsp chia seeds
    dash of cinnamon
    dash of vanilla extract
    3 scoops sunwarrior vegan protein

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the ingredients and mix.
Place in a 8 x 8 non-stick dish (or glass dish with some spray PAM/ wax paper). Using wax paper or plastic wrap, press the mixture down and spread evenly. Cover and place in the freezer until mixture hardens.
Cut & serve!

Serving Size: Makes 16 small bars or 9 larger bars
