Introduction

Sweet and tangy, this chicken takes less than five minutes to prep! Sweet and tangy, this chicken takes less than five minutes to prep!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp olive oil
    1lb chicken breast
    2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    2 tbsp honey
    1/2 yellow pepper
    1/2 red pepper
    1/2 green pepper
    1/2 onion
    10 mushrooms

Tips

1 serving:
3/4 cup veggies/chicken mix
1/2 cup rice
1 tbs glaze


Directions

Combine first 3 ingredients; sprinkle over both sides of chicken.

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 7 to 8 minutes on each side or until chicken is done.

Saute veggies (sliced thin) in water and add to finished meal.

Transfer chicken to a platter; keep warm. Reduce heat to medium-low; add vinegar and honey to pan. Simmer 1 minute or until glaze thickens; stir constantly. Pour glaze over chicken. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 chicken breast half).
