Homemade Meatloaf

Introduction

Seasoned ground beef, pork, veal mix, no salt. Nice take to work sandwich. Seasoned ground beef, pork, veal mix, no salt. Nice take to work sandwich.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Stop and Shop one pound package meatloaf mix
    ground beef, veal and pork
    Spices: dried rosemary, dried basil, onion powder
    Plain bread crumbs unseasoned
    Hunts no salt added tomato sauce.

Tips

Using stainless steel loaf pan (better heat transfer bottom and sides of meatloaf).


Directions

Chop well ground meat mix.
Add spices and bread crumbs, mix in well.
Add tomato sauce 2-4 tablespoons and mix well.

Transfer to loaf pan, shape away from sides of pan, cover with non stick aluminum foil.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Bake longer until top
and sides well browned. Cool, slice eigth inch thin and serve in Joeseph's oat bran flaxseed pita pockets with a slice of cheese and mustard.

Serving Size: Makes ten 128 calorie slices for sandwiches
