Seasoned Ground Beef

Introduction

This can be used as a base for tacos, spaghetti sauce or a taco salad. Just add cumin, chili powder and whatever else you'd like to give it a good Mexican flavor. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pound extra lean ground beef
    1.5 cup diced onion
    1 cup diced celery
    1.5 cup diced green pepper
    1 cup diced carrot

Directions

Spray pan with non-stick spray. Saute onions until slightly soft. Add celery, green pepper and carrot. Saute until slightly soft. Last add ground beef. Saute until beef is done. If adding additional seasonings, they can be added in with beef.

Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings
