Sweetened Condensed Milk (Sugar-Free and Fat-Free ) - ala The Hillbilly Housewife

Introduction

This is her recipe modified for fat free/sugar free. I use this all the time, especially on my bread pudding and rice pudding...so very rich and creamy! This recipe is the equivalent of one 14-oz can of sweetened condensed milk or 1-cups. This is her recipe modified for fat free/sugar free. Ingredients

    * 1-cup powdered milk
    * 1-cup Splenda Measurable
    * 1/2-cup very hot water
    * 3-tbsp reconstituted liquid Butter Buds (you can use regular butter but then you would no longer have fat-free. Trust me, the butter buds tastes the same and is so much better for you!)

Directions

(1) Get a 2-cup jar with a good fitting lid.
(2) Place the dry ingredients in a blender.
(3) Next, add the wet ingredients.
(4) Blend for a few minutes until smooth (it will get a bit frothy).
(5) If not using immediately, pour into you jar and cover with a lid.
(6) Keeps in the fridge for about one week. Use just as you would regular sweetened condensed milk.
