Introduction

I love apple crisp in the fall when the apples are fresh and juicy. This is one way I can get the dessert without all the sugar and fat. And I still enjoy it so much! I love apple crisp in the fall when the apples are fresh and juicy. This is one way I can get the dessert without all the sugar and fat. And I still enjoy it so much!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Apples, fresh, 9 medium (2-3/4" dia) 3 lb bag, sliced with skins left on.
    2 cups Oats
    1/2 cup Brown sugar packed
    4 TBSp Butter
    2 packets *Stevia, SweetLeaf Stevia Plus Fiber
    1 tsp (or to taste) Ground Cinnamon, ground
    1/2 cup *Flour, white

Directions

Cut up apples and place in bottom of buttered glass baking dish. Sprinkle with one packet stevia, 1 TBSP of the flour and about 1 Tbsp of the brown sugar and sprinkle with some cinnamon. Mix well. Pat down in pan so apples are flat.
Topping: Mix oats, brown sugar, butter, one stevia packet, cinnamon and flour together well. Pour crumbled topping over apples and press down.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 min until a little brown and apples are soft. Serve immediately or store in refrigerator. Filluing and satisfying.

Serving Size: Approximately 1 cup
