Spicy Thai Noodles

Ingredients

    1 box angel hair pasta
    1-2 tbsp red pepper flakes
    1/4 c canola oil
    1/2 c sesame oil
    6 tbsp honey
    6 tbsp soy sauce
    scallions, peanuts, cilantro

Tips

**I don't handle heat well, and only used 1 tbsp red pepper flakes. It had a lovely heat in the background, but wasn't overpowering.

Directions

Cook pasta per instructions on box. Drain.

In small pan on medium, combine canola and sesame oil with red pepper flakes. Cook on medium until the spice becomes fragrant. Strain flakes out of oil. Add soy sauce and honey, cook until just combined. Toss well with pasta. Add cilantro, scallions, and chopped peanuts. Serve hot or, to let the flavors married, refrigerate for up to 8 hours or overnight and serve cold.
