Mix the egg yolks, 1 tbsp of the coffee, the sugar and 2 tbsp of the brandy/cognac in a big bowl. Add the mascarpone cheese and mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and 1/2 tsp of sugar until they foam. Add the egg whites to the mascarpone mixture and mix slowly with a spoon. Mix the remaining coffee and brandy/cognac into a flat bowl and dip the ladyfinger cookies into it one by one. Arrange 10 cookies in a small tray and cover them with half of the marcarpone mixture. Repeat the layers. Sprinkle with cocoa and let stand in the fridge for 2 hours.
