Protein Banana Oat Bars (no sugar added!)

Introduction

Makes 6 banana-bread inspired protein bars (under 200 calories each). Can be eaten chilled or warmed. Makes 6 banana-bread inspired protein bars (under 200 calories each). Can be eaten chilled or warmed.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.5 cups quick oats, uncooked
    .25 cup ground walnuts
    2 large ripe bananas, pureed or mashed well
    .5 tsp imitation vanilla extract
    2 tbsp whey protein isolate, unflavored/unsweetened
    2 tbsp water

Directions

Mix all ingredients in bowl. Pour into 3 mini loaf pans and bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 mins. (Top should be firm to touch like bread but bars will be moist when cut).

After cooled, cut loaves in half length-wise for 6 convenient protein bars! Store in snack size baggies in fridge.
