Thai Peanut Sauce

Introduction

Can be used as a dipping sauce, chicken or seafood marinade or even salad dressing. Can be used as a dipping sauce, chicken or seafood marinade or even salad dressing.

Ingredients

    3 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
    1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
    1 tsp sesame oil
    1 tbsp packed brown sugar
    1 tbsp molasses
    3 tbsp white vinegar
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    red pepper flakes to taste
    1/2 cup water
    2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

Tips

Refrigerate if using as a dipping sauce for spring rolls or it can be used immediately on meats.

Directions

Add all ingredients except cornstarch and 1 tbsp water to a small saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. In small bowl mix cornstarch and 1 tbsp water and add to pot and continue cooking until thickened (probably will happen almost immediately).
